I am beyond thrilled with my fire and the installation. This is the first fire John Wright has done for me, and I would never use anyone else now. I was tempted by a slightly bigger fire, but John advised me to go for the smaller one, which was absolutely the right choice — the larger would have put out too much heat.

John was incredibly patient while I spent ages dithering over which fire to choose, and he answered every question with such care. His responses were always swift, and I know that if I ever have problems in the future he will be just as quick to help.

Really pleased to have discovered Wrights in Wincanton - John has been extremely helpful in assisting with narrowing down our options and on delivery, set the stove up for us. We are delighted with the end result and look forward to some cosy evenings without a smoking open fire and having to keep the door ajar!

John at Wright Fires has been amazing, even though I didn't start talking stoves with him until fairly late in the year. He knew exactly what would suit my needs and talked me through the process and possible options. John oversaw everything, keeping in close contact with me regards to flue options and a few extras on my Salamander Cookstove, which have been really helpful and finish off the unit perfectly. The fitters, Sean and his dad Tim were amazing too, such lovely people who were meticulous with the install. They also made it a very friendly and easy experience, whilst talking me through the install as they went. John put us in touch with Sean the log burner fitter , who again was very professional and helpful and did an amazing job installing the log burner .
I sat with John and we planned the look of my stove together . I am very impressed with the tiles I have chosen . The log burner is a perfect size for my lounge . The mantle is the final touch .

Wright Fires is a wonderful new shop run with experience, integrity and passion. John Wright is a serious expert in the field of domestic stoves, fireplaces and gas fires. His years of experience have made him extremely knowledgeable but he is not simply interested in selling new products. British Gas wrote off my Gazco gas fire a year ago during a routine check. I explained the problem to John who not only showed me that the claimed obsolete parts for my fire were still available, but also put me in contact with a local qualified gas fitter who ordered and fitted the parts for 10% of the cost of a replacement fire. Surely there can be no more glowing testament to a man’s integrity. I wish you every good fortune in your new Wincanton shop John. Thank you so much for your help.
